White Board Tools for Geometry

If you like doing some of these geometry sketches on the board and have been having some trouble making your angles look like angles, check out these products. http://catalog.learningadvantagecatalog.com/dry_erase_magnetic_measurement_set-p-176959.html
There's a compass, protractor, ruler, and triangles. This website has the best price AND they're in Michigan. I can hopefully bring my set to the next geometry meeting if you'd like to see them.

Interactive Website for Demos and Practice

Here's a website that has some easy-to-use interactive simulations. There's "Angle Drag" for drawing angles in a circle, with a protractor in the background to measure the size of the angle. There's also "Angles on a straight line" that would be great to show supplementary angles. There are a whole lot of other simulations for polygons and reflections that would be helpful later in the book. Some of these are for evaluation only and it shows up on the screen. The program can be bought, but it's expensive. Just use the free stuff! http://www.interactive-resources.co.uk/ Scroll down and click on Math Pack 1 for the angles;Math Pack 2 for Geoboards; Math Pack 3 for tangrams and transformations.
